Building A Successful Online Business Requires An Investment Of Your Time

Building a successful online business requires an investment of your time; time that is simply too precious to waste on having to read and being distracted by SPAM emails. I know the majority of you at the time of this reading have probably had more than your share of SPAM in the form of emails and telemarketing. Enough so, perhaps, that you are tired of it and wish it would just go away; but like other imperfections that pop up here and there through the course of life you have grown accustomed and calloused to it and learned to ignore and coexist with it for the most part.

Time is precious and there are only so many hours in a day for one to build and grow an online business. There’s enough to do without being distracted by the interference of SPAM. The bright side, however, if there in fact can be a bright side, is that it could be much worst; just think what it would be like without the spam filters that block a lot of it out. Like many of you, the one thing that I have learned from being exposed and bombarded with SPAM is that it’s not the way to conduct an online business.

Admittedly, the problem is not quite as bad as it once was, but it’s still at an unacceptable level. I think this is due in part because spammers are so wrapped up in their zeal to make money online that they have brainwashed themselves into believing that SPAM works a high percentage of the time. But the fact is SPAM does not work. It never will, and it’s illegal. Long term online business success and successful relationship building is attainable only via of emailing your opt-in subscriber list. Period!

Incredibly, though, even though SPAM is illegal, there are still marketers who continue to dabble in it. Don’t they know that in addition to the illegality issues that they’re committing business suicide? When will it all end? Day in and day out, I get the same type of SPAM emails from people trying to sell me on an assortment of items. Join my business, buy this product, mine is the greatest, make lots of money, and on and on the babbling goes. The same old SPAM over and over again with a different persons’ name attached to it.

Jeepers, creepers, SPAMMERS – Give me a break AND STOP YOUR SPAMMING! Now I know this may sound silly to some of you spammers out there, but all this spamming reminds me of when I was a kid going with my friends to the local city pool to swim. Our favorite past-time game was to dive underwater and take turns talking. Then moments latter when we surfaced, we would try to guess what the other had said. Sometimes you would get it right, but rarely; most of the time you simply weren’t able to discern the unintelligible, incoherent words. That’s what SPAM sounds like – a garbled group of incoherent words.

Just the other day, I received this one email where the person writing actually pretended to be interested in my business. Trying to be helpful, I pointed him to my website and told him where to find the information he needed and to email me if he had further questions. Well the joke was on me. Turns out that this was a complete waste of my time! He wasn’t at all interested in my business because in his next email, he started suggesting that I get into his business for X number of dollars.

Now I understand that marketers want to make money online, but SPAM is not the way to go about it. There’s a right way and a wrong way to do anything, and SPAM is WRONG! Now here’s my point: This person had SPAMED me pretending to be interested in my business with the underlying intention of selling me something that I had absolutely no interest in. I was not subscribed to his list of opt-ins and had absolutely no interest in what he was promoting; he not only wasted my time, but his time as well. Not to mention that SPAM is highly illegal. My advice to this person and to any SPAMMER is to STOP YOUR SPAMMING… rethink what you are doing. If you want to make money online via email marketing, then you need to promote a product or service to a niche market of double opt-in subscribers. If you don’t have your own email list, you need read over my tutorial articles and others you can find via Google search to see how it’s done.

By soliciting only to your opt-in list you will be on the right track to building your online business.
